Sanoma publishing in Belgium is encountering challenges in their advertising and content models due to a shift to online publishing. Super brands that play a huge role in offline publishing have a hard time making the same impact online. Sanoma asked us and Claro Partners Barcelona to gather customer insights related to motivations behind media usage and online behavior. Next they asked us to translate those insights into a framework for profitable and meaningful online publishing models.

How did we help them?

Using our 7daysinmylife.com insight tool we’ve gathered deep insights in the lives and media motivations of Belgian consumers. Focus groups and generative sessions enabled us to validate our insights and craft the first platforms for opportunities. Sessions with management and the business design team built on those platforms and led to new business models for online publishing.
